After wearing out her own copy of Flash Dance at age 3, Miss Rhiannon was taken to her first dance class and from there, there was no looking back. Rhiannon was fortunate to train under a very well known dancer and instructor in WA, Kerry Gough. Rhiannon attended Kerry Gough Gotta Dance Studio from 4 years of age until 12 years of age studying under the BAL and CSTD syllabi. Rhiannon then moved to Danielle Jackson’s Dance Studio due to her parents relocating.

It was under the guidance of Danielle Jackson that Rhiannons’ love of performing and choreographing for competitions grew, as she was fortunate to be apart of many award winning routines. Rhiannon was also fortunate to be selected to teach within the Studio.

In 2001 Rhiannon returned to Kerry Gough Gotta Dance Studio, where she continued to study dance, teach dance and participate in competitions.  In 2003 Rhiannon took on the role of the Dance Coordinator at the Rockingham PCYC, a role she held for four years. It was at this time Rhiannon’s dream of opening her own Dance Academy was realised.

Rhiannon opened the Academy in 2007 with the proviso of providing a fun, friendly and disciplined environment to teach children and adults to dance and to pass on her passion for dance.

Rhiannon is qualified under the Australian Teachers of Dancer (ATOD) syllabi, the Glenn Wood Tap (GWT) syllabi, the Acrobatic Arts program (AAC) and has completed her Certificate IV and Diploma in Dance Teaching and Management.

Miss Cait is the Assistant Director and Business Manager of Premier Performance Academy. Cait commenced dance classes at the age of 4 after attending her older sisters’ classes and continually joining in on the side, her mum thought she might as well enrol her too.

Cait commenced classes with Kerry Gough training in Jazz, Tap and Ballet under the CSTD and BAL syllabi. In 1995 Cait moved to Danielle Jacksons Dance Studio where she continued to study CSTD Jazz, Tap and Ballet along with WADMA Jazz, Tap and Ballet until she was 15 years old. After attending and teaching at local Rockingham dance schools, Cait returned to Kerry Gough’s Gotta Dance School at 18 and participated in a number of high placing performance troupes.

In 2007 Cait assisted her sister with opening Premier Performance Academy and has watched it grow into the fun, friendly, family environment it is today. Cait has always focused on training students who have a passion and love for dance and she believes above all that no student is a backline dancer, all students deserve their chance to shine!

In 2006 Cait completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Murdoch University majoring in Human Resources and Business Management. Cait manages the business and administration side of the Academy.

Cait is a registered member of ATOD, having completed her Advanced exam. She is also Acrobatic Arts Certified and holds her Certificate IV and Diploma in Dance Teaching Management along with obtaining her Progressing Ballet Technique qualification in 2019.
